In Memoriam Catherine Doetzer Kohlenstein, PT, CFMT (1957-2002)
When Karen and Cathy founded The Center for Integrated Manual Therapies in 2000, their primary goal was to create a healing environment where therapists would have ample one-on-one time with clients in order to significantly improve outcomes and make greater differences in their lives. In this they have succeeded. Sadly, Cathy died in December of 2002 from leukemia. She enjoyed life, loved to spend time with her friends and family-especially her 3 sons, and was an avid equestrian and skier. Cathy was an extremely talented and dynamic manual therapist, outstanding business partner, colleague and friend. Her work at CIMT as well as the VA is part of her legacy, and her indomitable spirit and presence is felt in our work at The Center today.
