Brett Jackson, PT, DPT, OCS, GCS, AT-r
After completing his B.S. in Kinesiology/Athletic Training from James Madison University in 2001, he practiced as a Certified Athletic Trainer in Middle Virginia. In 2012 he graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University. He then completed a residency in Geriatrics in 2014 and Certified Functional Manual Therapy Residency through the Institute of Physical Art(IPA) at Georgetown University Hospital in 2018. He has earned specialty certifications in Geriatrics(GCS) and Orthopedics(OCS) and working towards a Certified Functional Manual Therapist.
Brett enjoys working with challenging and diverse patient illnesses and injuries from orthopedic injuries to the spine and extremities , chronic pain, stroke, fibromyalgia, Oncology, Osteoporosis, and all forms of arthritis.
Brett enjoys working and problem solving with his patients to get the most complete physical therapy care to help their current problems and prevent further injury and illness and /or complications.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends through travel and finding great hidden gem restaurants.
